The Snoozatron is a short film in the Cracking Contraptions series. The film features the invention of the Snoozatron, a device that helps one fall asleep.

Plot

Wallace is unable to sleep after eating too much cheese, so he activates his Snoozatron to remedy the problem. Gromit puts on his sheep costume and heads downstairs as grabber arms place a teddy bear and water bottle on Wallace's bed. After Gromit reaches the dining room, a huge spring built into the floor repeatly bounces him upward, through a trapdoor in the ceiling, and into Wallace's bedroom. Wallace literally counts sheep and soon falls asleep, but the mechanism continues to bounce Gromit up and down for 33 minutes.

Trivia

  • It is unknown why Wallace chose to use Gromit. This would've been a good oportunity to use Shaun, its possible they didn't have shaun at the time.
  • Gromit bounces every 4 seconds. There are 500 Sheep on the count. That means if you do the math, Gromit bounces for about 2000 seconds or a good 33 minutes.
  • When Wallace turns on his lamp, Wendolene can be seen on a book titled "Wendy's House".
